The action followed FSSAI's suspension of Blinkit's Malad West licence on 7 Aug 2026 and nine notices to Swiggy Instamart in July 2026. Together they show regulators treating dark stores as licensed food premises subject to the same hygiene, storage and expiry rules as any warehouse.
