Privacy

Short version: this site sets no cookies and runs no tracking or advertising scripts. We only hold what you choose to send us, such as your email address if you subscribe or write to us.

What we collect

If you only read the site: nothing that identifies you. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify or profile anyone.

If you subscribe to alerts or send a correction: your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to send the alerts you asked for or to reply to you.

The batch checker: it downloads a small file of published batch records and does the matching inside your own browser. The full batch number you type is never sent to us or stored.

Who else sees it

Vercel hosts the site. Messages sent by email reach us through our email provider. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we never pass them to a company named on this site.

How long we keep it

Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Correction messages are kept for as long as the entry they relate to is published, because we may need them to show why a record changed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and withdraw consent for alerts. Write to editor@blacklisted.co.in. We reply within 7 days.

Changes

If we start using analytics or advertising, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Last updated 21 September 2026.
