Marico's Saffola is India's best-known 'heart-healthy' edible-oil brand, and the premium Saffola Total Heart Pro leans hardest on that positioning. Between June and August 2026 FSSAI issued the company a notice over a claim on the product that the regulator considered misleading. Deccan Herald and Inc42 reported the notice as part of the regulator's wider campaign against '100%', 'healthy' and functional claims that are not substantiated under the Advertising and Claims Regulations, 2018.
