Nandini is the brand of the Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers' Federation, one of India's largest dairy cooperatives. The BIS product-recall alert page lists a recall order dated 26 Jul 2023 for whole milk powder under the Nandini brand, made under IS 1165:2022, with the licensee shown as Dempo Dairy Industries Ltd. Whether Dempo packed milk powder for KMF under contract, or whether the brand entry on the BIS page reflects something else, has not been confirmed and is the principal verification item for this record.
