Bikaji Foods International, the Bikaner-based namkeen maker, has one recall on record. In January 2026 it recalled Chatpata Matar, its fried spiced green-pea snack, in 15 g and 36 g packs after internal testing found food colouring above the limit set by FSSAI's additive rules. The company called the step precautionary and asked consumers not to eat affected packs and to return them for a refund or replacement.
The report found for this recall does not give batch numbers, the colour involved or the measured level, and it notes that FSSAI had not yet published the company's communication.
