Nutrilite All Plant Protein Powder, sold through Amway's direct-selling network, was one of the products in which the Citizens Protein Project 1 reported aflatoxin above the permitted limit. Aflatoxins are mould toxins associated with groundnut, soya and other plant ingredients, and their presence varies by batch, so a single positive sample indicates a raw-material control issue in that lot rather than a property of the product line. Amway disputed the result; its statement is to be quoted from the primary source. The product's protein content was not among the study's concerns. No FSSAI action on the product is on record.
