B-Protin, a medical-nutrition powder from British Biologicals, was among the weakest performers in the Citizens Protein Project 1. The study reported about 10% protein by weight against a label claim of 40%, one of the largest shortfalls of the 36 products tested, and detected aflatoxin at trace level. The product was tested again in the project's second round in November 2025, which measured 10.1 g protein per 100 g and reported aflatoxin, progesterone, cadmium and undeclared sucrose; that result has its own page. No FSSAI action on B-Protin is on record, and no company response to either study has been located.
