The Bureau of Indian Standards published a public alert for a recall of packaged drinking water sold under the Sai Srithik brand, manufactured by Sai Srithik Pure Minerals, Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, under BIS licence 6100086091 for IS 14543:2016. The order is dated 7 Jun 2023. The order names the non-conforming parameter as Coliform (clause 5.2.2 of the standard). The alert covers lot 09, 1 L PET bottles, manufacturing date 21-02-2023.
