MAXN Whey Protein Concentrate: Citizens Protein Project 2 finding (2025)

MAXN Whey Protein Concentrate was one of 34 whey protein powders tested in the Citizens Protein Project 2, a crowd-funded study published in Medicine on 14 Nov 2025. The laboratory measured 73.07 g protein per 100 g. The label claim, read from the pack photo in the study's supplementary master chart, is 75.75 g per 100 g on the pack. The laboratory found 73.07 g protein per 100 g against 75.75 g on the label, a 3.5% gap inside the 5% tolerance the study used. Metals, aflatoxin, progesterone, added sugar and taurine were all below the limit of quantification. At Rs 1399 for 264 g it was one of the more expensive nutraceutical powders per gram of measured protein.
