Ensure High Protein was one of 34 products tested in the Citizens Protein Project 2, published in Medicine on 14 Nov 2025. The laboratory measured 32.78 g protein per 100 g and reported: undeclared sucrose 1.29 g/100 g; taurine 13.77 mg/100 g. Ensure High Protein had the smallest flag among the Abbott products, about 1.3 g per 100 g of undeclared sucrose and moderate taurine, and was otherwise clean.
