Where the claim comes from
Searches add Nepal, the USA and Dubai after reports of the Supreme Court case and the 2024 licence suspensions in India. Those were Indian actions with no overseas effect.
Patanjali is not banned anywhere that our sources cover. For the USA, we checked the US FDA's import alerts for heavy metals (99-42, updated 22 Sep 2026) and unapproved drugs (66-41, with the India list updated 9 Oct 2026). Patanjali has no entry on either. The Indian ayurvedic entries on the heavy-metals alert are Baidyanath, Falcon System of Ayurvedic Products and Kerala Ayurveda.
For Nepal and Dubai we have nothing. We found no order, notice or news report from an authority in either place, and our sources do not cover them. Absence from our sources does not prove that no such order exists.
The Indian matters that prompt these searches, the 2024 Uttarakhand licence suspensions and the Supreme Court case, were Indian actions and did not ban any Patanjali product abroad. See 'Is Patanjali banned in India?' for the full timeline.
What this means for you
What is not on record
We have no source from a Nepali or UAE authority about Patanjali. That means we cannot confirm a ban there, and we cannot prove there is none.
A US alert is a border matter
A US import alert lets the FDA detain a named firm's goods at the US border. It is not an Indian action, and Patanjali is not on the lists we read.
This is a record of official orders, not medical advice. Do not stop a prescribed medicine without asking your doctor or pharmacist.
