Scope. A record here does not by itself mean a product or company is unsafe or banned today. Regulatory actions can apply to one batch, one formulation, one period or one state. Always check the linked government document for the current position, and tell us if something is out of date. How we label records.

No Patanjali or Divya Pharmacy product is banned nationally. Three events and one lab result are on record. On 15 Apr 2024 the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority suspended the manufacturing licences of 14 products under Rule 159(1) for repeated misleading advertising; the state is reported to have cancelled that order on 1 Jul 2024.
The Supreme Court heard Indian Medical Association v Union of India (W.P.(C) 645/2022) over misleading advertisements. Contempt proceedings against Ramdev and Balkrishna were closed after apologies in Aug 2024, and the petition was disposed of on 11 Aug 2025. In Jun 2026 Maharashtra FDA seized about Rs 51 lakh of Divya Pharmacy products under the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act; Patanjali moved the Bombay High Court and the state said it would take no coercive action for the time being.
Maharashtra FDA's table of failed lab tests, as of 9 Oct 2026, lists one Divya Pharmacy product, Arjuna Kwath, for microbial limit. That is a finding on a tested sample, not on the brand.
What this means for you
Four different things
A licence suspension, a court case on advertising, a seizure under an advertising law and a failed lab test are not bans and are not the same event.

This is a record of official orders, not medical advice. Do not stop a prescribed medicine without asking your doctor or pharmacist.
