In its April 2026 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 121 drug batches that failed quality tests, 42 at central laboratories and 79 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 105 manufacturers across 91 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate Tablets IP, Albendazole Tablets I.P. 400 mg, Paracetamol Tablets IP 650 mg.
