In its June 2025 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 184 drug batches that failed quality tests, 81 at central laboratories and 103 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 130 manufacturers across 136 products. The most common failure was description, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Calcium and Vitamin D3 Tablets IP, Sodium Chloride Injection IP 0.9% w/v (NS), Telmisartan Tablets IP 40 mg.
