In its July 2025 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 143 drug batches that failed quality tests, 46 at central laboratories and 97 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 120 manufacturers across 113 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Gabapentin Capsules IP 300mg. (Pebammyl-3G), Calcium and Vitamin D3 Tablets IP, Rabcprazole Tablets I.P. 20mg..
