In its March 2025 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 131 drug batches that failed quality tests, 70 at central laboratories and 61 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 94 manufacturers across 99 products. The most common failure was dissolution, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Albendazole Tablets IP 400 mg,, Paracetamol Tab IP 500 mg, Sucralfate USP.
