In its November 2024 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 113 drug batches that failed quality tests, 42 at central laboratories and 71 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 90 manufacturers across 86 products. The most common failure was other, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include VIP Hair Colour Shampoo, RABEPRAZOL E TABLETS IP, Beaute Blanc Fruit Vinegar Gel Hair Colour (Natural Balck).
