In its November 2023 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 64 drug batches that failed quality tests, 53 at central laboratories and 11 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 49 manufacturers across 53 products. The most common failure was dissolution, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Propylene Glycol IP, Methotrexate Injection IP 25 mg / ml (MEREX 1000), Aminophyline Anhydrous BP.
