In its July 2021 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 45 drug batches that failed quality tests, 22 at central laboratories and 23 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 43 manufacturers across 43 products. The most common failure was dissolution, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Telmicept 40 (Telmisartan Tablets I.P. 40 mg), TEMPNIL-500 (Paracetamol Tablets IP 500 mg), Supradyn (Multivitamin Tablets with Minerals and Trace Elements).
