In its June 2026 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 193 drug batches that failed quality tests, 27 at central laboratories and 166 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 148 manufacturers across 128 products. The most common failure was other, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Amoxycillin Oral Suspension IP, Gamma Benzene Hexachloride Lotion USP, Paracetamol Tablets IP 500 mg.
