In its September 2025 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 112 drug batches that failed quality tests, 52 at central laboratories and 60 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 86 manufacturers across 77 products. The most common failure was dissolution, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include CALXIA Calcium Carbonate 500 MG + VIT. D3 250 IU Tablets IP, Albendazole Tablets IP, Diclofenac Sodium and Paracetamol Tablets IP.
