In its March 2022 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 48 drug batches that failed quality tests, 31 at central laboratories and 17 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 39 manufacturers across 47 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Doxycycline Capsules I.P. 100 mg, Zolpidem Tartrate E.R. Tablets IP 12.5 mg (SOO FRESH-CR-12.5 TABLETS), Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Calcium Pantothanate, Niacinamide, Vitamin C & Folic Acid Tablets.
