In its January 2022 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 27 drug batches that failed quality tests, 15 at central laboratories and 12 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 26 manufacturers across 23 products. The most common failure was dissolution, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Pantoprazole Sodium Tablets I.P. 40 mg, Calcium with Vitamin D3 Tablets, WARZYME Digestive Enzymes (Pepsin & Fungal Diastase Syrup), 200 ml.
