In its December 2021 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 35 drug batches that failed quality tests, 22 at central laboratories and 13 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 30 manufacturers across 31 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Uttarakhand. Products flagged include Disilox MPS (Aluminium, Magnesium and Simethicone Oral Suspension I.P.), Trimetazidine Modified Release Tablets 35 mg, ZINCOPAC BOOST Tablets (Zinc Acetate Tablets 50 mg).
