Shape Pharma (Gujarat)

Shape Pharma is the Gujarat manufacturer identified in WHO Medical Product Alert N°5/2025 as the maker of ReLife, one of three Indian cough syrups found contaminated with diethylene glycol in October 2025. The Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration suspended production at Shape Pharma and at Rednex Pharmaceuticals, maker of Respifresh TR, after the state's own testing. The WHO stated it had no evidence of export of the affected products.
