Medikof-D is a cough syrup manufactured by Indian Drug Vision Co. in Uttarakhand. On 23 January 2026 the Puducherry drugs control department banned its sale in the Union Territory after finding it not of standard quality, in the same order that banned Respi Fresh (Rednex) and Respifresh-TR (attributed to Edkem). The nature of the quality failure is not specified in our sources, and no deaths have been linked to the product.
