In its March 2023 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 48 drug batches that failed quality tests, 33 at central laboratories and 15 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 38 manufacturers across 40 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Uttarakhand. Products flagged include Domperidone Tablets I.P. 10 mg, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid and Nicotinamide Injection (Eldervit -12 Injection), CIPROFLOXACI N HYDROCHLORI DE TABLETS I.P. 500 mg.
