In its March 2021 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 18 drug batches that failed quality tests, 15 at central laboratories and 3 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 15 manufacturers across 16 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Tamil Nadu. Products flagged include i Clean Hand Sanitizer (Isopropyl Alcohol), HAVLOC INSTANT HAND SANITIZER GEL, XTER-250 (Terbinafine Tablets I.P. 250 mg).
