In its June 2020 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 20 drug batches that failed quality tests, 16 at central laboratories and 4 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 18 manufacturers across 19 products. The most common failure was dissolution, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Calcium And Vitamin D3 Tablets IP, Thyroxine Sodium Tablets IP 50 mcg (Thyroute 50 Tablets), Telmisartan Tablets I.P. 20 mg.
