In its May 2020 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 25 drug batches that failed quality tests, 17 at central laboratories and 8 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 19 manufacturers across 19 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Himachal Pradesh. Products flagged include Ferrous Sulphate and Folic Acid Syrup I.P., Iofer -12 (Iron, Folic Acid & Vitamin B 12 Capsules), Fungdid- B Cream (Clotrimazole with Beclomethasone Dipropionate Cream)15 g.
