In its September 2019 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 21 drug batches that failed quality tests, 18 at central laboratories and 3 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 20 manufacturers across 19 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Uttarakhand. Products flagged include Sucralfate with Oxetacaine Oral Suspension (Sucrazed-O Suspension ), Zylocef-S 375 (Ceftriaxone & Sulbactam for Injection), Thyrocure-50 (Thyroxine Tablets I.P. 50 mcg).
