Who
Skintl Enterprises, Delhi, an online seller of imported skincare

Skintl Enterprises is a Delhi-based online seller of imported skincare. On 24 Aug 2026 CDSCO's cosmetics division cancelled two of its import registration certificates, RC/COS-005535 and RC/COS-006751, and one import registration number. The order lists three findings: products not registered with CDSCO were on sale; some labels carried registration numbers that belonged to other products; and the firm had moved its warehouse without telling the authority, which is required under Rules 34 and 35.

The legal basis is section 10(b) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, which prohibits the import of cosmetics not registered under the rules, with Rules 12(1) and 15(3) of the Cosmetics Rules 2020 on registration and labelling. It is the second cancellation of an online importer in 2026 after Kult App in February, and the pattern is the same: products reach consumers with packs that do not match, or do not carry, what the regulator approved.

What this means for you

A wrong number is as bad as no number

Printing a registration number that belongs to a different product is a labelling offence in itself, because the number is how a consumer or inspector checks the import.

Online sellers are importers too

A marketplace seller who brings cosmetics in from abroad needs its own CDSCO registration for each product. Reselling does not transfer it.

Report what you find

CDSCO asks the public to report Indian-made cosmetics to the State Drugs Controller and imported ones to the Drugs Controller General of India at cosmetics@cdsco.nic.in. Keep the pack and the bill.

This is a record of official orders, not medical advice. Do not stop a prescribed medicine without asking your doctor or pharmacist.

Common questions

Can I still buy from Skintl?

The company can sell products it imports lawfully under other registrations or buys from registered importers. The products covered by the cancelled registrations are unregistered.
