In its April 2024 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 55 drug batches that failed quality tests, 33 at central laboratories and 22 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 50 manufacturers across 53 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Uttarakhand. Products flagged include Warfarin sodium Tablet IP 5 mg, Tranexamic Acid Injection IP (GYNAEPIL Injection), Thyroxine Sodium Tablets I.P. (THYROX- 75).
