In its August 2020 alert, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation listed 22 drug batches that failed quality tests, 9 at central laboratories and 13 at state drug-testing laboratories, from 17 manufacturers across 18 products. The most common failure was assay, and the most-represented manufacturing state was Delhi. Products flagged include Hypodermic Syringe 2ml., (Allyn Instant Dry Hand Rub), Winpress-XL 5mg (Prazosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets).
